Perhaps stolen from a particular magician...?

Phew, I managed to finish it in time. My first weekly challenge...

I had planned to draw two other pieces for the challenge and I even came up with those ideas last Monday. But since I just didn't have the time to sit down and finish those on time, I ended up submitting this one that I came up with yesterday (Saturday) at work... It managed to survive being made first on Paint, all the way through being sent via WhatsApp to my phone to be edited on IbisPaint, to Aseprite on my laptop. I'm glad there weren't any compression issues.

Since it was rushed, I don't like the end result that much. It needed extra polish. The lighting doesn't look quite right... And I won't pretend to know how to draw a braid correctly, either.

I think my dithering is amateurish, but I still tried to do it to get a little practice. Maybe I should've used it more so it wouldn't look weird being used in only one place.

I also wanted to add a smooth animation of a bunch of little stars circling over it, as if it was selected in your inventory or something.
