Those sprites look cool! Although with only 2 frames the movements always tend to look very mechanic. They do indeed look quite similar to the Imperial Guards in Warhammer 40,000.

I like these. Better than the ones on that site you linked to, IMO. Nice faces, esp. on the catachan-looking guys.  Maybe the big face lacks a little bit of definition.

I think Cadian is meant to sound like Canadian, or Acadian.

Maybe you should make some little Canadians now.
