don't worry, missing a challenge deadline at least once is a must.
it's a part of full experience together with "i forgot to click on 'submit to weekly challenge'" and "what were the rules again?" ;]
To be precise. Monday morning is a deadline time in my timezone (central Europe). The ticking clock is on the main page on the right.
Hard not to feel discouraged. 
But I understand. This was the first weekly challenge I participate in, ( or at least attempted to participate in) But now i know on monday MORNINGS is the deadline. I assumed it was kinda like a college assignement where 11:59pm is the deadline.

This is amazing, but the hybrid challenge is already closed. The poll for the winners from the all submitted entries has started, and the new challenge is on. I'm sorry if this is a bit confusing. On each Monday morning there are 3 things happening related to challenges. 1) We announce the winners of the challenge started two weeks ago. 2) We close the challenge from a week ago, which means the entries are no longer accepted, and we start collecting the votes. 3) we open a new challenge which has a week deadline for submissions. Please don't feel discouraged. There is still a lot of time to participate in the current one.
