Pixel art is definitely one of those mediums that takes the most long to do. This is fantastic for a first piece and is far better than any of my early pieces!

Thanks heaps! Yeah I was trying lots of different shape languages for the sake of experimentation, but also I struggled a lot with this piece and redid many parts. Some of which doesn't gel together super well, so yes I agree that some of the linearity feels out of place from the organic stuff. But it just got to the point where I wanted it done ahaha

I love the colours and the strong verticals and horizontals. The more naturalistic parts almost feel out of place compared to the confident linearity of the water and grass.
