Hah.  I love the wind waker style smoke.  Awesome work. 

I relized that there was an extreme difference in size between the two, but I'm focusing more on symbolic elements rather than reality.  Originally I was going to have claws/fangs dangle from the ring, but they were too dark, thus lacking in contrast.  I added the spider in at the very end just because I thought this needed another animation, and a small spider would not have been recognizable.  But for the sake of scariness and to answer your question, lets say that the spider is huge.

Excellent! I've been waiting for an addition to this project. Fav, but I do agree with Toby about the flatness of the bottle. What's next? Cure of Friendship?

I love how you've executed the smoke. Nice poisonously vibrant colors too :) The only problem to my mind is that the bottle looks rather flat. You could have put in a more highlighted area under the neck of the bottle to portray the sense of roundness. Otherwise great job!

This is real nice, I especially like the spider (shudder) and the swirley smoke. The potion looks pure evil.
