Valid points, I like both of them tho don't really consider them for team spots but it's usually cause there's more I like more, you know? I do remember hating the Tate and Liza fights as a kid playing Sapphire the first time. 
Every time I say Solrock is my favorite, someone always says "well Lunatone is better" . I enjoy Solrock being psychic / rock I think it gives him an interesting set of attacks that match him better then any fire / rock would (and i think it actually makes him a not horrible addition to a team)
I always liked Solrock and Lunatone, tho I always wished that Solrock was a fire/rock or something. Good work on this, tho, looks nice!
