@rogue_frog With the wings and arms, I was thinking about copying elements. The angel is like having two angel forms overlayed on each other. Technically 4 winged angels are cherubim but I don't think I thought that through, or whether I should have gone with a different type of angel. The story is all about copies and twins and 'evil twins', in different types of equalibrium, with the two earths mirroring each other, and the current civilization a weaker copy of the burning generation who came before them, and humans and robots trying to work out their relation to each other. And then the main rivalry is the fulcrum point; definitively out of joint with the potential to collapse all these uncertainly balanced systems as it resolves.
I like the techno angel, your execution on the linework is always just right.
Is there any reason in particular you picked 4 wings, 4 arms?
I get serious vibes somewhere between Dune and Serial Experiments Lain from the story.
Do you get any inspiration from a real world female rivalry you've seen?
@digitalCoffin thanks. I'm quite happy with how the grass turned out in the end after quite a lot of messing about with it.
@CrissyPink888 Alita looks like it's got some really nice android design. It's certainly up there with the best of robots with (occasional) wings.

Ah that makes sense, so strong dualistic themes in the sense of humans and robots, twins, a good and evil side, and balance.
