I like to check them so I can list how many colors were used, even if it doesn't really matter. It's also good for catching weird artifacts when using transparency. I run each piece through it before I upload mostly out of habit 

Thank you, you both are right that it's pretty and good but I'm going to be focusing more on palette control my next* few swords so it doesn't become a bad habit :) 

i always recommend not using transparency for pixel art unless you want to do a sort of hi bit style , but since it's only 128 x 128 i don't see the need when it can be done with less colors, i still like it tho

I think you did a good job as well! I think you could use a little more palette control going forward, tho. There's a few colors that could be condensed and lower your color count, but I don't think it's a huge deal for this one. Keep up the good work!
