absolutely love this.... can't deal with the baby skeleton, it tickles some miniature loving piece of my brain
@Irenaart Thank you so much! That's hard to track, because during that period there where a lot of different tasks + there were quite a few iterations that didn't make it into release. I think it were about 3-4 working weeks
Awesome work! How long did it take you to make them all?
@arcadehero - I've had my own fair share of computer programming and what you say is actually not as difficult as it might sound. But, if you haven't had the experience, then it does sound really difficult. Reading your explanation makes perfect sense to me. Image manipulation is one of the easier things to do in programming, but once you have multiple variables, it can make things a lot trickier. Still, that's awesome!
@Jinn Thank you so much, Jinn!
Frankly speaking, my boss helped me with that He made a python script with which the "radial gradient" effect was created. I'm not sure, how it works, because I'm not really tech person... But he described that as "We need a texture of 14x12 px for input of brightness and script that applies that texture to 32x32 tiles. Each tile needs to have its lightness measured and then it should sorted it from the middle to sides"
Amazing icons! I also love the way you sorted them, having the darker ones on the edges and the lighter ones in the middle. (Wonder if you did that by eye or if there's a clever way to sort them like that.)
A fantastic pixel art after being MIA for a couple of years!
Awesome. Love the 'gradient' effect. How did you achieve it?
