@Weerdmaster Yes, I'm glad it came together in the end. It started very texturey and after coming back to it near the deadline I simplified everything down with some big shapes, which I think it what makes it work.

@Umbohr Thanks! It was good we had a month at it. The early versions had a lot of colour kind of everywhere.

@BleuPale It's certainly a bit crazy! Definitely out of my comfort zone. I've done the thing that they tell you not to do: blasting high saturation primary colours directly at the viewer's eyeballs. Maybe I can get away with it once every year or so.

@Mr_Hk You're right, it is 'Violently Trippy'. Some people misidentify it as 'Pikachu' because of the similar silhouette.

The secret santa likes and dislikes were very much indicating non-standard palettes used in a non-standard way so it pushed me to do something different, which is nice.

@vemigvan yes, it's very busy. I spent a bunch of time getting rid of any bits  that looked like they were leading the eye in the wrong direction and I think that helps with keeping the viewer's interest.
