Merry Christmas to Yantar, who likes orcs and fantasy.

I wanted to incorporate more of their likes but I was set on doing an orc and that was difficult enough for me on its own! Obvious inspiration from Warhammer because that's how I think of orcs.

I was pretty stuck at first and went through a lot of different ideas before seeing Inkpendude's Citrink palette, which I originally planned to use for a picture inspired by old comics. This morphed a bit into a Commodore 64 Hires image (each 8x8 cell can contain only two colours from the C64 palette). I think the C64 palette gives it more of a dungeon feel, but here's an alternate version in Citrink (still with Hires limitations) to honour my original inspiration:
