Once, in the shadow of the great Northern Pines, nestled within a frosted forest of shimmering snow, there lived a creature unlike any other. This was no ordinary reindeer, but Yule, a mighty and ancient beast of the North, known to all who lived in the nearby villages as Santa’s Christmas Deer. The forest whispered of him in hushed tones, for his eyes were said to glow with an otherworldly light when cast upon his shadow.
Those who dared to speak of it told of dark tales, where his eyes would haunt the woods long after the sun had set.

Nice! Nothing I've ever seen or would be quick to believe in real life, but feels true to the region. A special encounter indeed.
