Painting Umbohr's face/icon did cross my mind, but there was no way that was going to be integrated gracefully, and well; fully, in the 5 hours of the morning I was givin at the time... Now you did make me think about rotoscoping myself doing a full charcoalsketch. Maybe one day 

With a bit of tinkering of a brush and a drawing tablet, animating this almost felt almost the exact same as if I were tracing my own sequence of photos on a lightboard.

Love the animation style! Kinda reminds me a little bit of one of my all time anim idolisations - a look maybe best represented by Bill Plympton on the traditional media? That feel carries over much better to pixel art than I would have thought, wow!

This is also incredible and it'd be a shame if it were overlooked. Nef & Frijhe may have greater ambition, but this is wonderfully atmospheric. The way you've pixelled pencil lines is truly beautiful. It's amazing to me that one person made both pieces because they are so stylistically different while also being among the most beautiful pixel art pieces I've seen.
