Ain't that the truth -- have been trying to come up with more interesting/complex compositions for my pieces lately and I think it's been working out. Thank you!
Rich colors and expansive compositions lead to a fulfilling viewing experience.lovely work!
There really is! I actually found myself getting lost in the atmosphere of this piece several times when drawing it.
Thank you, glad you like the palette for this one!
The color-picking process for this one was pretty simple, I basically just picked colors I thought I'd need for this landscape from dark to light (purple, blue, and brown for the darker parts and greens/yellows for the lighter parts) and then picked several more colors I thought it would be interesting to include/I thought contrasted a bit with the colors I already had, like the bright blue and green used as highlights in some areas and the vibrant orange I used to show sun hitting the radio towers :)
Thanks! I thought extending the tower into the border might be a nice little trick to emphasize its height and the red smoke coming off the lights :)
There's a whole little world in here that I could get lost in. :)
The colors here are impressive! If you don't mind me asking what was your process overall and how did you pick the palette?
Love your artistic choices, I think this would be Lovely as a Postcard
Gorgeous! Love how the tower extends beyond the border.
Yo this is such a a cool composition!
