Isometric is more useful to engineers, since (with a proper 30 degree projection), it's possible to make to scale measurements along all 3 axes. Isometric is latin for equal measure, so all 3 axes are the same scale, not true with axonometric, in which only two axes are equal. Of course pixel art can only approximate isometric with its 26.5 degree angled lines. Close enough to be pretty.

To clear everything up, this is AXONOMETRIC projection. Very popular amongst architects since you can just take a floor plan, rotate 45 degrees, and project objects upwards.

Thanks for the reply, Jalonso. I will change the BG to transparent soon...just wait.

1:1 isometric is also a valid iso perspective. The colors are too sturated but looks fine. Transparent BG would be much nicer.

1:1-isometric?

i've seen something driving with 2 wheels today - do we have to celebrate the invention of the 2 wheel-car or what?

If it's 1:1, then it doesn't fit the meaning of isometric, and therefore is not.
You use colors that are too saturated.  The garden seems out of place.  The grey shadows don't make much sense.

my bag, so you did

You know, i said it's 1:1isometric. That's completely different from the normal 2:1.

Not isometric.

The colors are rather eyesore too.

It isnt true Isometric as the dots ge one up one across rather than one up two across. If you know what I mean.
