I thought of gawrone straight away, although I can see Deceiver in the severed head now you mention it... As he himself said, there's lots to love here. I also really like the way the sky transitions into the banners.
and yes you are welcome to decipher it, one more Easter egg, the severed head on her hands are the one successfully zombified, they have the shine on their eye.

I can't stop looking at it. I was thinking that the black sun was your addition, but recalled that this is from the pixelween piece. So this is filled with gawrone easter eggs. You have no idea how much this means to me. But I have to say that the sky that turns blood red and then transforms into those hellish ribbons of pain from other dimension is totally yours. I wouldn't have come up with something like that and I truly regret this is not my idea.
The most important thing here is that the piece also has some deeper meaning. I'm beginning only to decipher it, and have some ideas, but it's amazing. Are the birds flying away to freedom from the misery of life, or they are lured by the hell opened in the sky to their doom, or are they just summoned to feast on corpses, as the final seal of the fate or as the part of the circle of life. I wonder why it looks better than mine and I think it's because you are successfully combined both styles and deceived everyone. I think this is deceiver with my colours and my thin lines instead of clusters, and my choice of resolution and crows? Those heads with skin are so incredible. I will have to steal them from you if I learn how to do them
