I feel like the overall canvas of this piece should have been alot smaller, to better strengthen some of the more simpler elements. As large as it is, some parts come off overly simplistic, or barren. Other parts seem unfinished. With a smaller area to work with, it would help your mind focus on those aspects of the piece and give them the proper love they deserve.
I guess, it's kinda' the beauty of how pixel art eventually developed; that is to say that through limitations of technology at the time, it forced the artists and designers working on said games to carefully consider pixel placement that would help the subject stand out and be more recognizable.
Most definitely can! Later this week I'll do exactly that
Really neat piece, I love the bird!
I'd like to point out, however, it has a ton of very similar black colors: https://www.linneart.com/pj/?input=https%3A%2F%2Fpixeljoint.com%2Fpixelart%2F159718.htm
I see, so in a way the smaller the canvas the more it can achieve (sorry english is not my first language)? Because the pixels get more involved in the artwork in general?
