You could argue that there is no need for a tail on a gorilla, but it works. This is a really fine piece of pixel art. One of my favourites to date. Great use of colours. Great job Helm

About knuckles, I didn't really consider total faithfulness an issue, but thanks for the detailed critique.

Sorry for the double-post (there's no edit post feature), but let me further define my crit about the knuckles a little bit more. I understand that the meta-carpus bones are NO abnormality. And this piece is no different, other than the fact that in most animals, especially primates, they don't tend to show as much as they do in this piece, especially in the right hand. They stand out a little too much, is what I'm trying to say. Maybe by combining the meta carpal highlights together, like the normal layer of fat and muscle that ussually cover it, this issue may be resolved, in my eyes at least... The B.O.B. . I thought this one and panda's were the best in the challenge at the moment. lovely use of colors. I never did like the way you shaded his knuckles for some reason, though. Especially on his( or it's) right hand, the knuckles, or the bones that connect them, seem to strangely go up to it's wrist. My favorite part is the eyes. I do love that glow that their giving, but from the first time I saw this piece, I always wondered: what the hell are those silver things, above it's eyes? Is it some type of Cyber-Gorilla? Forgive me, if I'm questioning the obvious, but I just have know clue what it is. Either way, it's probably my favorite detail in the piece, other than the eyes. Lovely texturing and awesome color choice. Great job...
