Boong Joon Ho's 'Mickey 17' Pixel Tribute Animation. It was use as promotional material for a local horror movie cycle.

I tried to recreate the story of the movie as synthetically as possible through a 1 minute animation. It's all there: the expendables cycle seen through a dark humor lens, and the natural order from the alien planet breaking Mickey - and humanity - free from it.

I based Mickey's entrance into the machine in Chaplin's famous scene in 'Modern Times' when he gets swallowed by a factory.
