Try to eliminate the grid look of your tiles, once you've elimintaed most of the grid it'll look even better. You've got some great tiles there so I figured why not help ya out a little more.

Also your character, who looks pretty awesome, is definately at the wrong angle. You've got more of a face on approach when it should be more top-down. It can be a little difficult to eliminate this but a good way to start is by making it seem like there's less of a neck. When spriting top-down it's best to have the shoulders kind of join the head somewhere around the cheeks, having a neck can throw the look off terribly.

But some nice work here, just needs a few touch ups and you're set to go! =)

your tiles are showing to much try to make them blend more and the charator is out of proportion with the angle you have choosen. Try to make the charator more to fit the ground instead of the front view.  Good work on color and what not,  just remeber the tiles must be invisable. Spell bad but you get the idea.

these tiles look pretty good but the character looks better :]. the best tile is probably the ground tile behind the char. the tree is good as well. the water can use more detail. btw, what's the tile above the water supposed to be?
