I always believed that any poetry and "magic" of the USA as a country is either long gone or imported. This album changed my mind.
It is my favourite Tori Amos album. When it came out I was already a fan and it accompanied me in just the right time of my life. The rhythmic section is so groovy. And that BASS TONE! Give yourself a favour and listen to this album with good phones/speakers/car audio, with bass eq included. It will bounce your body as much as it will move your heart.
