I recently realized that JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Phantom Blood didn't get a game adaptation until 2006, something I find very surprising because it gives me very strong 80's Castlevania vibes and I feel it would have worked perfectly as a short NES/FAMICOM game. So I made this small mockup of how I imagine a game based on Phantom Blood could have looked like, inspired by Castlevania's final fight, and following the same system technical limitations.

Aw man, I'm such a big fan of NES/GB mock-ups so this is right up my alley. My girlfriend has been wanting to show me the entire series for awhile, I had to send her this.

You captured that old school look great, I'm working on a slightly different Castlevania piece myself inspired by the original game.
