Reading that it's "too scary to look at for too long" is honestly one of the biggest possible compliments for a drawing like this. ♥
And yeah, I may have a few more files with 4, 5 different versions of the background light, especially on the wall, but this one worked the best for not distracting too much from the main meat of the scene in the end.
Very good compositional storytelling in this one.
I feel there might be a different ssolution for the light at the walls in the back, but how the effect is used right now for sure nicely focueses the view.
