I agree with khris about the ending though the ending isnt the way it should be

The ending effect isn't very convincing and could be improved by making the "dissolve" quick, and allowing the cloud to continue to rise instead of abruptly stopping and then dissolving. Also, I don't think that pillar should point out and extend seperately the way it does. All I can really suggest if you want to perfect this is checking out some explosion videos on YouTube or something (live video is so awesome for animation references).

Nice, the only thing I notice with the animation is where the falling dust stops for a frame, but the flames do not. Maybe it was intentional, but it jumps out at me. I love the initial black flash, nice effect in my opinion.

Out of curiosity, what exploded?

Deleted the old one and reposted it, cause it wouldn't edit to the new upload (Changed the flash at the start)
