Have you ever seen Escaflowne? It might be your kind of show too, good amount of mechs. But it is more fantasy than sci-fi. Still sci-fi in a lot of parts though.

@rogue_frog I'm not sure about favorites. I do like a bit of decent mech design, but I think it's nice when your big robots are designed to mirror their purpose (actual or narrative). On the other hand I rather like some of the gundam designs, but I haven't watched much of the actual franchise beyond the original series. I've mostly just watched people putting together gunpla kits on youtube.

Nice work ambermechanic, also very "your style." Do you have a favorite robot design?

@SeDiceBisonte Thanks! A lot of times when I try these interesting palette challenges I feel like I want to work on them some more later on. Mostly I haven't followed through on that, but on this one I managed it! There was so much potential in the challenge that it would have been a shame not to.

Wow, that was nearly a year ago! I said I hoped we'd see more and here we go! Absoluteley beautiful work on the silhouette shapes. I love the design on the left, which also makes excellent use of negative space. Love the wonderfully organic human forms too, especially the guys on the bottom right.

The composition as a whole is very good too. You definitely achieved your goal of making a dynamic piece!
