Very smooth, much like Alucard's run in SOTN! I've played both SOTN and Order of Ecclesia and liked both (preferred SOTN more though in terms of gameplay). I haven't make this style of sprite before but here are some thoughts I have:
I think I just got so used to looking at Shanoa's in game sprite which has brown hair I kind of forgot her artwork often features her with black hair. Maybe it's supposed to be an ash brown? Or maybe dependent on the artist. Also her hair tends to move as one big clump in the game probably because the sprite is smaller and has less fidelity, so that extra bit of hair flying separate on the profile run is a bit distracting, it would feel heavier if it all moved together I think.
The other thing is the run is much more graceful and delicate here, she seems to run with her hands in fists in Ecclesia but here her hands and arms seem looser. Probably more Alucard like!
Overall really like it! I love seeing artwork of Shanoa she's a very underrated protagonist for the Castlevania games and you did a fanastic job. I just thought I'd give my thoughts having also played both games.
The animation looks very smooth, though I always found Castlevania sprite run animations to be too floaty or basically lack weight. I suppose you were maintaining that particular style, as otherwise, I'd suggest to add some weight to each step.
That animation is so smooth! You really have given the hair great volume. I love the flow of it.
