The style was very loosely inspired by deltarune. I don't normally work on a canvas so small so this was interesting. This is for the weekly challenge: Pixel Art Challenge: After Earth

@SeDiceBisonte thank you! I wanted to make the concept lean less on 'alien worlds' but have it be something a bit closer to home. Have the emphasis be more on nature in a possible world (or future earth) where humans are irrelevant. I like the scene in HG Well's the Time Machine where the protagonist travels so far in the future there are giant crab like creatures and crustaceans everywhere on a vast landscape. So I wondered something similar, about if plants and insects took over.
I wasn't familiar with the term ligne claire until you mentioned it just now, but I see what you mean. I was trying to make the lines easy to read.

This is such an interesting concept. I love how it captures such a different feeling to the other entries that have been submitted so far. The greens, purple and brown look so good together, and the crisp ligne claire style is lovely.
