I like the atmosphere and also the halo around the street light bulbs, they fit the style. Anyway, there could be some respective shine on the floor or on top of the low wall beneath the left light. One main point to me is the swastika lines being to thin, they need to be bolder. It's neither really aesthetic nor authentic that way...

my only issue is the lack of contrast between sprites and the background. it makes it hard to tell whats going on (which would be twice as bad in a fast moving game) the excessive black kinda gets to me too, but it is quality :)

*faints*I only don't understand the black on the roof of the two homes burning. No other roof has it and it doesn't show anyways.

Awesome work, my only complaint would be it needs a warning that NAZI symbols are used as it's illegal in Germany to show them... other than that, I love the clouds.
