This is my entry for the Pixel Art Challenge: Furries But Not That, you have to use the Armageddon palette by MirruTatep and give an animal fur that normally doesn't have any.

I made an isometric sprite, aiming for Ragnarok Online style. It's a pangolin which instead of scales has tufts of fur, lighter yellow around the neck like a mane, then more orange along the back and legs, and a long swishy brown and red-specked tail. The only scales are on the head and around the claws.

The specific reference species is the Indian pangolin (Manis crassicaudata), and I was also looking at the fur pattern on a brown hyena for reference (Parahyaena brunnea), mainly for the colouring of the mane and tail.
