this is looking good. couple o things I would've done differently (for instance the contrast between the two dirt tones) but still sweet stuff and very pro.

Wow, this looks very profesh'. I love the stylistic choice here, with the shiny highlights. The only problem I see is with the background and the way it's aa'd. It looks a little sloppy, and out of place compared to the rest of the foreground, and character sprites. Maybe try refining the lines a little more, so it doesn't look too chunky. Still though, this looks like a fun game to play. Hopefully there will be a demo to try out when its done.
