If you slow down the animation frame rate...I think it would look a lot nicer. This piece was drawn very post modern, and smooth. So therefore a fast animation might not match the design. If you make a silky smooth animation...Maybe not just up and down but like a slanted up and down movement.. I think it could look pretty neat. Or even make the box spin..
