Great job, and I like the texture that the dithering gives it actually. It's kind of matted.

the edge highlight is a bit odd, but im digging it. nice cols on the jeans!

No offense meant, you are obviously very good. Seems we lump all outfit wearing girls as 'dolls' used in a general sense and not a put-down.

I think most of my issues with this may stem from personal style choices than anything else, but here goes anyways.

Is there a specific reason as to why you have outlined certain edges with a highlight where there really isnt any type of lightsource? (IE the left hand side of almost everything). It just kind of eliminated the purpose of shading and causes an extremely 2D effect.

Hue shifting would make this look awesome. I'm at work so I cant create any kind of example at the moment, but I'll try when i get home :).

about the suggestion, im not that good at english so im gonna try to make this as clear as possible...
first.. tne near arm looks shorter than the other one, so maybe u want to make it larger....

and for the far arm... the arm in general is ok... i think the problem is the hand.. which looks like in a weird position... maybe u can make the thumb and make the hand like in a nother position..maby facing the front instead of the back.. as it wuld be a more natural position...

well.. thats my opinion... i hope u understand what i tried to say ^^

for the record, she's not a doll - I did her from scratch, not putting clothes on a body or anything...(;

and yeah, the far arm bugs me in general, I had no idea how to make it look natural and right and everything. I'm actually totally willing to go back and rework that if people have suggestions on how to fix the errors, I just have...NO clue. and her near hand bugs me too.

Great coloring. The denim looks amazing. The arms look a little wierd because the shading does not show the backward bend.

P.S. I'm a ferocious bettle warrior with a tough exterior...splat...

She is damn cute, I love the colors.

You know what? I'm not much of a fan of doll-type art. However this is still pretty good. I would also have liked it without less dithering. I think her left leg needs a wee bit of work where it meets her crotch(I'm sorry, I don't know the nicest way to name that region...). Also, her left fingers need a bit of work, as they seem kinda' flat or broken.
  Keeping that in mind, she seems like a cute character. I'm diggin' the design of the boots. Red goggles are a must.

P.S. No need to fear the pixel-art community. We only act like we're tough, but we really are about as ferocious as kittens...Purr...
