Are GB screens really this small?? Reminds me of Super Mario Land, somewhat, with the tiny little head. I think you should have dithered over wider areas to achieve more smoothness. Also the character's legs are just a little oddly shaped. It may be a good idea for you to post some wips on pixelation forum to take advantage of the great advice and edits they have there.
