35 colours? On a 22x23 sprite? Did you use a new colour each pixel? I wouldn't qualify this as pixel art unless the colours are drasticly reduced. This can be done easily with about 8 colours? Or even less if you really want to reduce it.
I would remove the pointless white BG. You can find help in forum on making it transparent or look in the FAQ page to find a link to 'giffy', a free proggy that makes things transparent (for PCs).
