Random forest mockup :: Pixel Art Detail

I was never too happy with this piece except for the rocks. Which I'm not actually happy with anymore either. There was much for me to learn back then.

this piece is very good, i like the bushes and the blue mushroom most. but the overall hue is too blue for me, and the short grass could be much better. it looks like a flat  concrete floor, especially at the ulterior trees. at the bottom of the rocks the single grass blades look very good.

You've excelled at adding great texture to everything, but the scene lacks a proper lightsource, which really detracts from it, imo. The edging for the grass could use some more attention I think, you could get much more definition and character into it.

its really cool.. though im not sure i like the trees.... it seem like the wood is over the leafs so... maybe you should try and may some leafs over the wood.... also try and fix that woodstick that lays on the ground... it looks like it doesnt belong to that scene, its just a matter of perspective (not sure thats the word)

pretty nice, but watch you proportions, good work on hinding your tiles. It may look my dynamic if you add a leaf tile over the trees. good work

while the tiles are ace, i think the how huge it is kinda detracts from it; a series of smaller screenshots would probably look better, being able to see the reptition at this view sort of hurts it in my opinion.

Thats really beautiful, I like the details like the flowers and mushrooms.

Looks very cool!=) A few lighter grass spots  would brake uniformity. And sprites figures just a little bit lost on the theme (compair with that beatifull eyecathing mushroom=)

Trees could have more variation.

Yeah, the grass, decor (minus the large plants), and trees are all of the old stuff. I did however, touch up most of the smaller objects (minus the flowers).

Wonderful detail, The rocks and river look amazing.  

Very nice. The tree trunks are well done, and so are the various plants around. I like it.
