The immediate family members of men an women serving in the U.S. Armed Forces anywhere during a time of war can display special Blue Star flags in their windows for the duration of the war. Also if the service member is killed during the time of war the Blue star flag can be changed out for one with a gold star. Agree with the war or not the troops fighting are all someones brother, sister, father, mother, son, or daughter.
