Very nice shading and coloring. The only thing that I see that could use a revision is the top which makes the tower appear to be solid. Perhaps if the top had an opening.
Thanks a lot for your feedback! Believe it or not, the bricks below the intersecting shaded region on the right have the same color as the shaded region on the left! I think you're right though, both regions could be darker. Should I create shadows for the ramparts, or just shade the entire floor darker? I'll post the update of this picture in a little bit.
That's pretty nice :) It's slightly confuzzling though, the way you shaded it. I would make one side of the tower in that dark shade you used, and use an even darker shade for where the two shadows overlap. Also, the top looks quite confuzzling too :) I suggest you make the floor of the top completely dark, to emphasize that it's further away than the ramparts.
