They are cute and original. You have a great start but can do more here. The black outlines on one don't match the other. There is no shading at all. Just fixing those things would help your pixel stand out more. Maybe...just maybe if you made like gummy bear kind of transparent would look cool...play with them, they have potential

you should at least try some shading. and make the green a little less saturated(more gray).
