This looks great, but with something of this level of detail you should add more frames to the animation. It looks odd with detailed art but low quality animation.

if you paitnted the doggie's head green, took the brown out of the eyes, and made the pupils smaller it tould look like the dog from that movie "the mask"

The sprite itself is great, however, the animation is unnatural and honestly doesn't add anything to the piece itself. I think you could've gotten away with 16 colors.

i disagree with seekingelebit...

1) The front paws look cute like that and they match the expression on the dogs face

and 2) the shaddow looks fine to me. I don't see what's wrong with it

Corel, it might be so and at some point it's quite allright not to like it.=)

Two reasons for me to bother with animation - I've got to watch baby for two hours and luckily for me he's been slept most of it - meaning, I've got a brake.=)
And second - I truly deeply believe that art is not about making fine pictures, at least not primerely, it is more about joy of creating process - searching, finding, loosing and searching again. At this point any efforts on a way are never screwy or pointless.=)
