Seeing how I haven't played Metroid in a while, I wasn't quite sure whether or not the makers had ever said if Samus had a living father. So, here is a fabrication of Samus's father. Meet Brutus. Revision: I made a revision to this because after really picking it apart, I wasn't happy with the knees. They have been moved in approximately three pixels from the edge, putting them at the same angle as the tips of the feet.

It might look a bit more interesting (less symmetrical) with a specific lightsource.

Samus was born as a human and this armor she wear is gift from Chozo. They transfused chozo blood in her veins and ability of chozo suit was an addition like unnatural power and endurance. So, Samus father was normal human. ;)

This sprite looks good. Add some aa and increase the contrast a bit.

High contrast sprites really didn't seem to fit in well with the 'post apocolyptic' phase I'm going through right now. However, my general style consists up of low colour/high contrast sprites (similiar to SNES style graphics), so do expect to see those types here in the near future. Just wanted to try something different for a change.

could do with more contrast with the shades but all round its great nothing really bad to say.
