Resubmitted without floor tile and non-pixeled shadow. I did this palm tree for the Mana World project to replace the low-res one from the old days. According to the Gimp's colourcube analysis it counts 26 unique colours, but I don't think that includes different alpha values.

This is pretty good, the only thing that bugs me a little is the leaf texture. It seems too solid, although I can see your emphasis on the individual strands, not sure how this can be fixed. Maybe some stronger highlights perpendicular to the leaves?
