I'm finally done with this piece! I worked pretty hard with it and must say that I am very satisdied with the outcome. Thanks to everyone on Pixelation and Pixel Joint that has helped me out with it!

Nothing special with the theme of this really. I just felt like pixelling a mermaid. I also threw in a tree because I needed to practise that. The water was also a great learning experience as I don't think I've tried to do a reflection in water like that before.

EDIT: made a few nitpicks. Nothing major.

This is superb. The colors, the athmosphere, the textures. Only AA is not consistent throughout the piece. 6/6 + FAV anyway!

The colours fit each other nicely... Its so beatifull there, only a bit small but well... it looks quite realistic, and i cant do better than you did in this pixel, so id say it looks very good

Great work! This is a beautiful scene! Why are some of the oranges dithered and others not? Anyways, doesn't make a difference, beautiful.

what can i say, awesome, this piece will always be an  example of excellence to me... finally accepted by u to b released. A true example of pixel work its start was most great and its state a present was very nice. faved definatly (drunkeness) but seriously sober me = realisation of awesomness

Another terrific piece, definately going on my favorites list.  The recent face crit and blue rock highlight edit I actually thought would have inproved the piece, though the former only a stylistic choice.  Congrats on the feature and inevitable trophy.

Yay! You finally submitted it in. I was like, " What, she thinks she's too good to submit her mermaid at Pixeljoint, or what?" Heh, kidding. Great job, and I think it's wonderful when artists like you take critiques to heart, and work to make it what it is today.
I'm still a little iffy on the upper horizon/dither technique, but nothing to change it over. The only thing I really miss is a little more man-service, with the previous nip-slip....Joking, but seriously, Great job...
