and also the sprite itself is 11 colors although it doesn't look that way but it is.
Lessend  colors any better the sprite itself is now 12 colors

they're better, I would suggest shading them somewhat gradiented to go along with the curves, you also might want to brighten a highlight around his eye-brow to show its there, and get rid of the black BG for a more neuteral (or transparant) BG

In the early versions, the overlapping teeth on the bottom jaw looked awesome.  Also, make the teeth less bright.  I would hate to see a good piece like this ruined by one bad section.

well ur right about that dark color but this is how the style is like the dithering is random it's a new style that i found out

if you want my oppinion, i could probably make this about 6...  theres like 3 shades of that second darkest color (in the middle of him) that you cant even see...

i sugest trying to use other styles of dithering, that are maby less random.

still its a waste, especially considering you only used 3 colours on the most contrasted part.

allso, fresh up your AA, the teeth are insanely fuzzy
