It looks mighty fine, even tho the castle just begs to be thrown out of the scene :) both composition and style wise.. My guess is that the castle was added at the last second by request?

The clouds look great, the perspective of the castle in the background does not fit somehow. The sword texturing is very well done.

Looks Great! I'm seeing some texture issues, however, with the over-dithering. The dithering makes it looks as if the armor and sword or made purely of stone, not iron-cast or steel metal. The castle in the background also tends lose it's distance to the character afront, due to dark outline-ish colors surrounding it. The sky looks brilliant however. The clouds remind me of the way Riva did his for the piece Clockwork Rian image 3, http://pixeljoint.com/pixelart/2922.htm. Looks wonderfully done.
