Death animation of the FLY CAPONE boss in me upcoming game. It is painfully long, but with how the boss is hard to reach and beat, I thought it ended a long struggle nicely!

hang on a minute...Isnt the animation size shrinking because after he is first shot he falls backwards into the scenery? [it really appears to me that this was his intention anyway]. I dont know what you guys are mentioning size inconsistancies are seeing but ive always thought things appeared smaller when further away in the distance. I think its excellent and funny to boot. Your really going to town concidering this is just for a game. I rarely get to spend as much time on sprites for games, tight deadlines and all. Keep up the good work.
Quite nice, but one thing I noticed in this as well as some of your other animation are volume inconsistencies. His head seems to shrink a lot as soon as he steps back. Same with the guy coming from the hole, he shrinks after coming out of the hole. I would suggest to invest more time in keyframeing and blocking the animation before actual detailing, as I suspect this being the main problem. With this in mind you can get from good to awesome. :)
I don't like the way the head shrinks when he falls to the ground the first time! It's almost half of the original size when the animation is finished.. I've noticed this in your previous entries aswell.. I think you should look into that because other than that, it rocks!

I must say, you're probably one of the best animators on this site. You seem to put a lot of effort into the characters of your animations. The only thing that I usually notice that is a problem with your animations, is that they are so dark, it's hard to define certain details. I wish I could offer a solution, but I myself suffer from this issue of contrast. So my suggestions would be meaningless, in a way. I believe trying to experiment with warmer, brighter colors, and further separation of contrast(after you are done with the game's sprites of course. Otherwise, you'll ruin the style...) and most likely something positive will come of it. Still though, I love these things. Quite fun, I must say!
Haha, great animation and the amount of effort you must've put into the thing is stunning. The idea is brillant and the execution is pretty much flawless. 9/9 stars.
