There are many pirates but there are none like Davy Jones!
My first attempt actually to create anything like this. So far I've stucked to pretty basic stuff (see earlier work) but last night when I was just fooling around trying to come up with something to do, I thought of Davy Jones.
Since the character is so cool I wanted to have a realistic look of him and you can see the result yourself. Took me about 3 or 4 hours to finish him.
While I consider this piece finished, I might add legs and the rest of arms too since it was original meant as a fighting sprite... sort of (hence the small image). I actually did add his claw but without the rest of the body, it looked weird, so I took it out. Hope you like it! |

No worries about the butcher-thingy. Kinda lost his look but it's the coloring that is the important thing. Very, very helpful I must say. I'll definitely look at this and see if I can do something similar. My version really feels... overdone now :)
