That's true, 8x8 and 16x16 are better, but I never thought of the tilebase as something static.But hay, Mobile games can be at any tilebase.

Somehow it reminds me of Another World (Out of this World in US). 12x12 tiles don't translate will to any non-PC platform. I'd go with 8x8 or 16x16.

Umm... I don't know if you were serious but this is just a mock-up and so there is no game, just pictures of one that could have been or one day be.

Heh, yeah Flash back indeed did inspire me in parts of the design.Splinter cell for mobil did give me a great impresion the first time I saw it, and I'm quite sure I get inspired for some of the wall tiles, like how to use the lighting and such.

Yeah that game was uber cool, and the hiding in shadow is very mch inspired from that game.I liked the puzzles in that game, but I never liked the monster design, still it was a great game.

Abuse is and awesome game, though I only have played the PC port of it (it has some flaws in the control) it still was a really really good shooter.Beautiful too.

That looks so bloody awesome! The background tiles are particularly impressive. I can never get tiles to look that convincing.
It all sort of reminds me of the game 'Abuse.' I hope this game gets made.

that hiding thing is a lot like the game from blizzard called Black throne. however you had a shot gun instead of thaat pistol like thing. if you havent played Blachthorne, you should. i think you could use it for inspiration

I love it! The Palette is really nice. Sort, Kinda, reminds me of Flashback 
. (and splinter cell on mobile)
