@Das spiriter: I think its supposed to be Street fighter style.
I dont think its KoF style because the shades arent "Boom" as much, and dont stick out as much.

It's cool.  The only thing I found wrong with it at a glance was the left hand animation.

The hand animation looks a little weird, but otherwise this is pretty much awesome. I especially like how the guitar swinging left and right behind the body gives it more depth, almost like a parallax-effect.

His hand looks like a bundle of banana or a small Handbanana.

You really should update the preview image. It doesn't do this piece justice.

I agree with Setzer on this one. Everything about the piece is pretty amazing except the cut and paste animation. I do it too though, so I can't complain too much. However, I feel that it makes the guitar look like jello, and the knees look like seperate entities knocking on a door or something. XD

May not be perfect but its way awesome.

apart from the feet and the hand, it looks more like a cut and paste animation than anything, well drawn, and the actually animated parts themselves look good, but the cut and paste really hurts it for me.

It looks very much like how most flash animations move, but I think it works here. It's a cool sprite made more dynamic by limited (yet effective) animation.

I don't care about the lack of animation, it's still very nicely done! I love the opening/closing of the hand, very smooth. Fav'd.

indeed, the animation could be a little more animated. moving sections that way is the lazy way to animate :P i'd like to see some folds in the clothes come to life,  etc etc. you're on the right track though, it looks good already.

The only thing that I see that is REALLY animated is the hand and feet. Like, I see the other things just a pixel-move to the right/left or up/down. Oh, and the guitar that is rotated.

I'd change more the pixels, like, give them life. The folds could change theirs sizes, the upper torso could have a bit change (actually it's almost still).

That do not take the quality away from the animation, of course ^^ But that's my contribution for your next works, or even an update on this one ;D

Woah, thats great! It would be perfect if you animated the folds a bit in the bottom of his jeans, they seem a little bit too static, especially the right leg (his left)

this is one of the best animations i have seen here to date.  this is just pure sex in pixel form

you should try making the clothes move more realisticly, just think how much more awesome that would be, because this is already awesome as is!

I am really liking this, Great concept for a fighter, God only knows what sort of damage a guitar could do if combined with weapon fighting skills.

Brilliant colouring, smoothe as silk animation, what's not to like? I also love the little touches of the hair and the guitar strap swinging as as he rocks back and fourth.
