Agreed, there's a lot of pillowshading, I think you should really fix that. The tree looks like it's upside down, if that was your intention then that's cool, but otherwise I'd suggest making the base wider. I like the atmosphere though, cold and creepy.

Yeah I'm wondering about the border. You could add a pattern to it and shrink it a bit.

What's with the huge grey border? Also it is very pillowy.
