Yeah the outlines are kind of a standard procedure if you don't know what will be behind the logo. I like the logo but technically it's not your best (AA-wise and stuff), and I prefer your recognizable style over scene standards any day! Not half bad tho. 4/5

About the bumpy black outlines... I tended to do that at that time so it won't look too aliased when displayed on backgrounds of different hue/brightness - the dark grey background on the pic being transparent.
